The time has come for the Hwa Rang Do Minneapolis Academy to take
a BIG step toward even greater evolution. We are entering the 10th
year since Instructor Sirny began teaching here in our community,
and our dojang has already grown from a small club to one of the
premier martial art schools in the Twin Cities. Now, starting in
2011 our school will definitely 100% BE the most complete martial
art school in the entire Midwest region with an expansion that will
be unrivaled in its scope and vision of what our dojang can offer
as far as traditional martial art experience entails.
We will be adding an additional 4,000 sq/ft of 1st floor space to
our current 3,000 sq/ft 2nd floor location, and construction has
already begun to build-out the facility to wonderful standards (for
those of you familiar with our building, the space we are taking
is the majority portion of the old Checker’s Auto space).
The first floor will have the mats and we will be putting in a wood
floor on the second floor, so each area will have a lot of use for
our unique & comprehensive training needs. Details are being
worked out, but some of the highlights you can expect to see are:

Will include: Experienced & Educated Staff, Leadership
Training, Quality Homework Time, Field Trips, Life Lessons,
Healthy Snacks, and of course Daily Martial Art Training. Afterschool
care to maximize the potential in every child – NOT just
daycare/babysitting – quality productive & fun time
for the kids!
*Special Note, we will be creating a Non-Profit Organization
to manage the afterschool program and reach out further into
our community. We wish to make a difference in our members by
empowering them one person at a time.

will have 1 total amazing facility for everyone's complete martial
