Hwa Rang Do World Tour - Special Seminars with Chief Master Lee

Saturday and Sunday March 7th and 8th - 2009

Master Lee will be back in the Twin Cities for another year of awesome training with all of us in the Midwest. The Hwa Rang Do Minneapolis Academy will be hosting the event so check out all of the info and get your registration forms in! Again, all students both adults and juniors are strongly encouraged to participate in this great weekend of training.

Description Note:
If you were wondering about some more details about the first two grappling sessions, they will be very dynamic for your overall skill in the mentioned positions. We will start with position control & escapes, followed by submissions & counters & counter-counters first for side mount and then with the guard. This will really help you at both offensive and defensive tactics from these extremely important positions.

***If you want to have any of the above items in time for the seminars you MUST place your order by Saturday February 21st, otherwise they will be given to you at the dojang upon their arrival.

Notes about the Seminars – Make sure to Pre-Register by 3/5/2009 to save $10!

• These seminars with Chief Master Lee will be open to the general public at large. Individuals from other arts, as well as friends and family are welcome to participate.

• It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that all participants have a Gotoogi (grappling/heavy weight) uniform for the Saturday Grappling sessions.

• All participants MUST have full sparring gear for the Saturday Point Sparring session.

• All participants MUST have a Jukdo (bamboo sword), for the Sunday Hwarang Kumtoogi session, and Kumdo uniform and armor if you have it.

• All participants MUST have Ssang Jung Bong (2 Mid Sticks), for the Sunday Hwarang Bongtoogi session, and Kumdo uniform and armor if you have it.

• The location of the seminar will be the Hwa Rang Do Minneapolis Academy. However, if there are an extremely large number of participants the location will change to a local high school. Please stay tuned to our website for information regarding the exact location, and also include your email so we can notify you of any changes.

Group Dinner:
This year we will be having a group dinner at MAJOR's Sports Cafe in Bloomington, MN. We have reserved their banquet room so this will be a great chance for our entire Hwa Rang Do Family to spend a nice evening together. We will have a special menu and then you can select what you want off that. You will have to pay for yourself, and this will be done there (no prepayments needed). However, we do need to give a head count, so make sure that you fill in how many people will be coming with you on your registration forms. As always all friends and family are welcome, and we will also have a party gathering at the dojang after the dinner for whoever wants to celebrate a little.
